This lovely landmark Inn offers a full food menu 6 days a week, lunchtimes and evenings + Sunday roast on Sundays between 12 noon and 6pm. It also has a large skittle alley and function room with its own bar facility and is ideal for parties, gatherings, meetings, weddings, groups or clubs. There is also a large beer garden with a children's play area at the rear of the pub.

 

For Touring Caravans, Motorhome and tent owners they are a brilliant stopover for those going 'West' or 'East' on the A303, also for those visiting shows in the Bath and West Showground. Bath, Bristol, Castle Cary, Frome, Glastonbury, Longleat, Shepton Mallet, Wells and Yeovil are not far away. They offer full facilities for up to 22 caravans or motorhomes, with electrics and elsan disposal as well as a small shower and toilet amenity building. Tents are also very welcome. Weather permitting the Touring Park is open all year.

 

The railway station is just 5 minutes walk up the road. Brook House Inn is in a rural location and surrounded by dairy farms that have cheese making plants and shops open to the public.

Paradise House, Croscombe

 

Four Star B+B in a Grade II Listed stone-built house within the Conservation Area of the friendly Somerset village of Croscombe, close to Wells and the Bath and West showground, and convenient for Bath and Bristol and many local attractions.

 

Thought originally to be a silk-weaver’s hall, it served as the village’s Post Office in the 1960s and also sold tins of paint and offered the occasional passer-by a bed for the night.

 

Now it provides delightfully appointed, comfortable accommodation and delicious breakfasts in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
